TCAP Teachers constantly work at the following tasks:

• Task 1: Being  EFFECTIVE.  We build upon what we learn.
• Task 2: Filling GAPS. We work on filling students gaps between what they know and dont know. Between goals and what is being taught.
• Task 3: Not Repeating material. We work on consolidating what is being taught  as to diminish repeated content, skills and assesments which bring about boredom.
• Task 4: Integration. We identify areas where knowledge and skills overlap between disciplines and as a team we use curricular maps to see connections between content and abilities being taught.
• Task 5: Match Assesments with standards. Testing what we teach and making sure what we test concurs with state content standards.
• Task 6: Review for Timeliness. We make sure what is being taught is current and up to industry standards and expectations
